Rachel Fox was born and raised in Thornhill, Ontario. She began her professional ballet training at Canada’s National Ballet School when she was eleven years old. After graduating in 2002, she went on to dance professionally with English National Ballet and the Israel Ballet.

During her career, she performed in much of ballet’s classical repertoire, including: Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, Giselle and The Nutcracker. Her career brought her to such stages as The London Coliseum, The Teatro Real in Madrid and The National Theatre of Taiwan.

After retiring from dance, Rachel has been fortunate to discover that her passion for teaching is as strong as her passion was for dancing, and she enjoys sharing this joy of dance with her students both young and old.
