Celeste, born in Argentina, has been dancing since she was a little girl. She is trained in different dances such as belly dance, Argentinean folk dances, tap, tango, samba and salsa.
In 2001 she fell in love with belly dance and completed four years in a bellydance school in Argentina, studying with Florencia Lima, Zafrah and Zahira Nahid. For the past eight years Celeste has taken different workshops, done many performances and instructed classes. During 2007 Celeste was part of Zahira Nahid’s professional Troup “Ballet Salamat” in La Plata, Argentina, with whom she performed in different theatres and events.
Celeste is trained in Egyptian and Argentinian Bellydance style, as well as Tribal Bellydance fusion and Bolero Bellydance fusion (which was originated in Argentina).
Her performance experience includes belly dance shows, typical Argentinian samba carnivals and group salsa performances.
After she moved to Canada in 2008 Celeste became a member of the Rhythm of the Nile Dance Company in which she earned one of the main roles of their 2009 major production.
Celeste feels very fortunate to have been influenced by Latin-American rhythms; movements and steps.
Her use of props such as the Veil, Isis Wings, Cane and double Cane, balancing of candles on a tray, movement fusions and love for music makes her performances unique and very dynamic.
